About Chemical park of Huelva
Chemical park of Huelva is the biggest area dedicated to this sector in Spain. As strength, the Port of Huelva is oriented to the industry and with diverse inland and maritime docks.
Intermodal logistic area, freight cargo area and other infrastructures area available for the logistic service to the industry, such as railway terminals, distribution network of natural gas, raw water, communication network, among other services.
There are two airports (45 minutes connected), through free-fee highways and two railway lines (to North Spain and Mediterranean Corridor). University and Vocational Education Centers have specific industrial degrees. There is a dense tissue of auxiliary services and sanitary centers. Weather is perfect for chemical industry.
Main productive areas are non-ferric metallurgy (mainly copper), electric power plants, LNG terminal, diverse gas products (propane, butane, oxygen, hydrogen, etc.), oil refining, petrochemistry, hydrocarbon additivation, fertilizers, ammonia, chlorine derivatives, acids, bases and salts.
More than 10.000 people have a direct relation within Huelva's chemical industry.
