Transformadora de Etileno A.I.E.

Transformadora de Etileno A.I.E. (TDE) has three units to manufacture low density polyethylene (LDPE), with tubular type reactors.

Two of the units came into operation in 1974 and the third in 1977; At that time they were owned by Explosivos Río Tinto, SA.

In 1984  the property at 50% Dow Chemical Ibérica, SA and Repsol Petróleo, SA  was acquired and the company Transformadora de Etileno, SA was formed, which later became a Group of Companies in 1992, Economic Interest (AIE).
