Alberdingk Boley

Alberdingk Boley GmbH is a medium-sized family business based in Krefeld-Uerdingen.

Its core business is the production and sale of water-based polyurethane, plastic and adhesive dispersions for use in coatings, architectural paints, plasters, wood coatings, corrosion protectants and adhesives. Another pillar is natural oils as renewable raw materials. Across Europe, Alberdingk Boley is the sole producer of castor oil, paint oils and their derivatives. They are supplied to industry for further processing in printing inks, the cosmetics industry and the pharmaceutical sector.

With production facilities in China and the U.S., Alberdingk Boley employs about 450 people worldwide. More than a quarter of the workforce is involved in research and development.
