Thermphos inaugurates STPP plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands

Dutch phosphorous group Thermphos is set to open its new sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) granule plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands. The plant, which has an investment cost of €14 million, was completed in January 2021. The annual capacity of the plant has not been disclosed. The plant's output will be used in specialty detergents for dishwashing machines. The opening ceremony will be officiated by the Queen's Commissioner in Zeeland, WT van Gelder.

Vlissingen, The Netherlands - Dutch headquartered phosphorous group Thermphos will inaugurate its new sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) granule plant in Vlissingen, The Netherlands.

In a statement, the company said the Queen's Commissioner in Zeeland, WT van Gelder, will officially open the new plant.

Construction of the plant, which has an investment cost of € 14mil, began in early 2001 and was completed in January this year. Its annual capacity was not revealed.

The plant's output is used in specialty detergents for dishwashing machines.
