Valtris Specialty Chemicals is investing in additional production capacity at its Advanced Organics sites in Belgium and the Netherlands. The investment comes after the acquisition of INEOS Chloro Toluenes last year, which allowed Valtris to expand its benzylchloride production. The expansions are expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter of 2020 and will strengthen Valtris' position as a global supplier of chlorotoluene derivatives. Valtris Advanced Organics, the business unit responsible for the production of chlorinated toluenes and related derivatives, operates facilities in the US, Belgium, and the Netherlands.
Independence, OH–Valtris Specialty Chemicals is investing significantly to add additional production capacity at both of its Advanced Organics sites in Europe,at Tessenderlo, Belgium and Maastricht, Netherlands.

The expansions are expected to be fully completed by the end of the first quarter 2020.
