Lipotec's investment of 12m Euro in a new pharma plant at Gava, Spain

Spanish pharmaceutical company Lipotec has invested €12m in the construction of a new plant near Barcelona. The 16,000 square feet facility will employ 80 people and triple Lipotec's production capacity over the next two years. The company produces raw materials for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and food industries, with 80% of its products being exported outside of Spain.

MADRID - Spanish pharmaceuticals firms Lipotec has invested 12m Euro to build a new plant at Gava, near Barcelona.

Some 80 people will be employed at the 16 000 square feet (1440 square metre) new plant. 

The new plant will triple Lipotec’s total production capacity in the next two years.

Lipotec makes raw materials such as liposomes and peptides for the cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and food industries. 80% of its products are exported outside Spain.
