Total Cray Valley Begins Construction on New Liquid Polybutadiene Manufacturing Plant in France
PRWEB - Total Cray Valley (TCV) announces that it has started construction on its new C4 chemical manufacturing plant in Carling, France. TCV will use the new plant to produce liquid polybutadiene. With the ability to produce several thousand tons of product per year, the plant expands TCV’s global market leading position in polybutadiene production, both in volume and range of functionality. The plant is scheduled to go live in October 2016.
The new facility is Total Cray Valley’s fifth manufacturing plant for this product line, adding to the strength of the company’s existing global distribution network. This means customers will have easier access to a more reliable supply of polybutadiene-based functional additives for a wide variety of markets and applications.
“This plant allows us to provide customers with not only the largest quantity, but also the widest range of product functionalities on the market,” said Dominique Vincent, CEO, Total Cray Valley. “It proves that we are continually finding ways to invest in the best and most relevant solutions for our customers.”
