Total Cray Valley (TCV) has begun construction on a new C4 chemical manufacturing plant in Carling, France. The plant will produce liquid polybutadiene and is expected to go live in October 2016. This new facility will be TCV's fifth manufacturing plant for this product line, strengthening the company's global distribution network and providing customers with easier access to a more reliable supply of polybutadiene-based functional additives. TCV aims to offer the largest quantity and widest range of product functionalities on the market. Total Cray Valley is part of Total's Polymers division and manufactures various resins used in adhesives, rubber, electronics, coatings, and other applications.
