Reym's Takeover of CLD in Delfzijl

At a glance

Reym B.V. has acquired the company CLD in Delfzijl and plans to establish its Delfzijl branch and training activities on the site. Reym also intends to build a Waste Processing Plant in partnership with sister company ATM. The goal is to offer a complete package of cleaning, transport, and waste management services in the Eemsdelta area under the name Total Care Centre Delfzijl. This acquisition is seen as a positive development for Reym Noord-Nederland and provides a favorable business location for its activities and partners in the Eemsdelta area.

On 1 January 2015 Reym B.V. took over the company CLD in Delfzijl from Gebroeders Borg. This is the former plant of Dow Chemicals (formerly Rohm and Haas) and a 6-hectare site. Reym has the intention to accommodate its Delfzijl branch on the site. The training activities will also take place there. There is also plenty of space for technological developments by Reym Technologie Centrum.

Furthermore, Reym intends to build a Waste Processing Plant at the new site in partnership with its sister company ATM. In due course, Reym wants to be able to offer the complete package of cleaning, transport and waste management for Eemsdelta under the name Total Care Centre Delfzijl, in the same way as it is already doing in the Botlek area in Rotterdam. The takeover is a positive development for Reym Noord-Nederland, and offers a good business location in the Eemsdelta area for all its activities and partners.
