Specialty chemicals company, Evonik Industries, is investing a double-digit-million-euro amount to build a new production plant for polymer dispersants at its site in Essen. The plant is expected to start operating in the first quarter of 2015 and will triple the company's global capacity for polymer dispersants. Polymer dispersants are used in water-based systems in paints and printing inks, as well as in high-solid systems with a low proportion of solvent. Evonik aims to serve the growing market for polymer dispersants and provide innovative solutions for functional coatings and paints.
Essen- Evonik Industries is building a new production plant for polymer dispersants at the Goldschmidtstrasse site in Essen. The specialty chemicals company is thus investing an amount in the double-digit-million-euro range and is tripling its global capacity for polymer dispersants.
