KURARAY CO.,LTD. is mainly engaged in the manufacture and sale of chemical products. The Company operates in five business segments. The Resin segment is involved in the manufacture and sale of Poval resin and film, EVAL resin and film, and polyvinyl butyral (PVB) resin. The Chemicals segment is engaged in the manufacture and sale of fine chemicals, methacrylate resin, processed resin products, thermoplastic elastomer and rubber, among others. The Fiber segment manufactures and sells vinylon, artificial leather (clarion), polyester and dry nonwoven, among others. The Trading segment sells polyester filament produced by the Company and products manufactured by other companies. The Others segment manufactures and sells advanced membranes, activated carbon, gums, processed resin products, conducts warehousing business, logistics and processing business, provides insurance and travel services, as well as operates golf courses and hotels.
