Huelva and its surroundings represent one of the most important industrial centers of Spain. In the city of Huelva and Palos de la Frontera, along with other locations, more than fifteen chemical plants are grouped in the Association of Chemical and Energy Huelva Industries (AIQBE). They are the most significant core industrial activity in the province and one of the largest in the country.
The consolidation of this powerful industrial center has provided for over 50 years a positive impact on job creation and wealth generation. More than 10,000 people work related to our industries. The daily work of this large professional group, in which are represented the most diverse specialties and crafts, is linked to products of great importance to the quality of life and covers the needs of millions of people.
